coffee, tea, and a little bit of you + me :)

Hello Love,
How are you today?  It's so nice to have you over.  I made myself some coffee already, but the tea setting is out for you...or would you like some coffee with me?
Oh, and that flower - yes, it's for you.
Why?
Because I love to see you smile...

This week was fairly *interesting*...it was kind of a rollercoaster in my blog posts, but thanks for sticking around for the ride.

I thought it would be nice if we went outside today...I know it's a little crisp, but I have blankets.  Grab one and we'll chat.

Guess what?
Tomorrow's my seven-year wedding anniversary.  Lucky Number Seven...and it sure has been pretty wonderfully lucky for us.  I know you probably here this from a lot of couples, but I cannot believe my husband and I have made it this far into our relationship.
See, we met our sophomore year in high school - we became great friends...we'd walk to school together every morning and back every afternoon.  We'd laugh, talk...I could tell him anything.  It was never romantic, just best friends, you know?  Well, not a lot of people (my dad in particular) thought that was a good idea.  So that summer after we met, I was told not to talk to him anymore.  We both lived our separate lives in high school - passing in the halls and saying hi or him asking me to hook him up with a friend of mine {he dated her for something like 4 years - I was a good matchmaker...}...
Then college happened.  We started hanging out again...all very secret until my dad found out again.  We had become romantically involved after all and I was sent away to another country because of it...
{this is the short version, I promise}
Fast forward six years and I'm back from my "get-away"...and I receive an email at work.
THE most breath-taking email {think "thinking of you" and sunsets}...
I was done for...two years later, my love and I  were together again - not caring who stood in our way.
We've had it all.  We've had it all taken away.  We've gained a lot along the way...
But most of all, we have each other...no matter what or who may stand in our way.
Our Heavenly Father had His hand in all of it -
and what a great plan He put together :)

So, I'm sorry...There I went again babbling along!
How's your tea? {oh, you moved on to coffee?}

Just one more thing...
Just a little reminder...
You are worth it.
Don't doubt yourself.
You're beautiful.
You are...
well...
priceless.

Don't forget that okay?
I do a lot, but I want to thank you for yesterday's post when I was full of doubt.
You were {again} my "lift-me-upper".
And for that
{insert hug}
....

ps:  I'm not sure if everyone else is having coffee {or tea} at their places today, but stop by anyway:)
These ladies are always so very welcoming...

Happy Anniversary a day early, never underestimate the power of love because it always finds a way and so glad you two found each other again and listened to your hearts instead of others advice! Hugs to you Nay, we are all in need of a story which ends in a positive way so here is to many more years to come with your sweetie.

Congrats for tomorrow. I hate to admit how many years I've been married....over 20 years...see told you I'd probably not admit the exact number. Have a fear if I tell my age, nobody will find my thoughts useful. anyway...here from the linkup and hope you come visit sometime. Good luck for a long, long marriage.
